About
KAVA roasts its own beans, and you taste it. The shop is a few minutes from the old town, and inside everything is bright and tidy. It made its name with the Cake Cans: cheesecake in see-through cans you can take with you. Alongside that, iced matcha and really good coffee. Small, usually full, and the coffee carries the whole thing.

If you want a Cake Can, come early. At the weekend the good flavours are often gone by the afternoon. I take a can and an iced matcha and sit down on the bank of the Salzach with them, by the water instead of in a crowded shop.
Cuisine & style
Specialty coffee from their own roastery, iced matcha and homemade sweets, the Cake Cans above all. Clean fittings, everything built around the coffee.
Price level
Upper end for a café, cheap it is not. But for the beans and the work behind the desserts the price is fine.
Location & access
Very central, a few minutes on foot from the old town. Parking is scarce here, so it's best to come on foot or by bike.
