Street food
LEKA takes Leberkas seriously. Maximilian Bozzo-Rath spent seven years as head chef at Ikarus in Hangar-7, and now he's reinventing the Leberkässemmerl at Getreidegasse 47. No warming block, no mediocrity: every roll made to order, still warm and crispy, everything executed at a gourmet level. Falstaff gives it 91 points in the streetfood segment, which says it all.

The LEKAspitz is my go-to. Come early or late afternoon when the old town crowds thin out. Cards only, no cash. If you want a cheap classic Semmel, this isn't your place. If you want quality, you'll find it here.
Leberkässemmeln made to order, thought through like a proper burger. Vegan option from Pflanzerei, gluten-free on request.
Premium streetfood prices. If you're after gourmet quality, you'll get it. If you're after a bargain, look elsewhere.
Getreidegasse 47, Altstadt. Pedestrian zone, accessible on foot or by bus (lines 21/22). Nearest parking: Altstadtgarage Mönchsberg, with a direct exit to Getreidegasse.
