Karaffu is a pop-up from Innsbruck that recently opened a small offshoot on General-Keyes-Straße, between Lehen and Itzling. Inside it's minimal, bright and pretty small. There's specialty coffee, matcha in every version and vegan bakes with pistachio running through the whole menu. Right now everyone is talking about it.

Weekday mornings are the most relaxed; at the weekend the queue is out the door in no time, because the place really is small. The combination everyone here goes for: pistachio croissant and strawberry matcha. If there's nothing free inside, take it with you, the city library is just around the corner.

A coffee and a piece of cake usually land between eight and eleven euros. Mid-range, and fair for what ends up in the cup.

General-Keyes-Straße 24a in Lehen, a bit outside the old town. Ten minutes on foot from the Aiglhof S-Bahn stop; by car into the car park by the Interspar.
