Photo spot
The suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel is 140 metres long and hangs 28 metres above the drop, at around 2,250 metres. It starts right behind the top station, you walk on grating and look straight down as you go. In clear conditions the view reaches into the Hohe Tauern. In winter access is included in the ski ticket, and in strong wind the bridge stays shut.

I go early or in the golden hour in the afternoon, then there's less going on and the light sits well. A windproof jacket and warm gloves belong in the bag, it almost always blows up there. If you're afraid of heights: the bridge sways a little, and you can also reach the viewpoint on the short footpath around it.
A few minutes from the top station; with photos and a walk around, reckon thirty to forty-five minutes. Technically easy, but exposed and slightly swaying, and slow going when it's slippery.
Winter, on a clear day with no wind. In strong wind the bridge is closed, and then you still have the short footpath with the same view.
Right by the top station of the Stubnerkogelbahn above Bad Gastein. Reach the valley station by ski bus or by car, then take the gondola up.
